This HJ flywheel energy storage system(FBESS) adopts advanced design, with a wide range of rated design output power, from 200 kilowatts to 1.5 megawatts, and is highly scalable. It can be flexibly integrated into power stations of tens to hundreds of megawatts to meet the diverse needs from small microgrids to large energy bases.
The HJ FBESS achieves efficient conversion of electrical energy and mechanical energy through a precisely controlled workflow. During the charging process, the electrical energy first passes through a high-performance flywheel energy storage inverter to accurately control the motor drive, so that the magnetic levitation flywheel in a vacuum environment quickly increases speed. In this process, the input electrical energy is efficiently converted into the kinetic energy of the high-speed rotation of the flywheel to achieve electrical energy storage. When the grid or load requires electrical energy, the flywheel begins to decelerate and drives the motor to generate electricity in reverse. The generated electrical energy is again fed into the grid through the inverter smoothly and stably, completing the conversion of the flywheel kinetic energy into electrical energy. Through the acceleration and deceleration cycle of the flywheel, the FBESS realizes flexible storage and release of electrical energy.
